This is my (usually) weekly look at the Reds' season-to-date statistics, with minimal (for me) commentary. I've tried to include notes below each table about the meaning of some of the more obscure statistics, and many of these stats are discussed in detail in my human value series (see sidebar). The base running prospects are 6 years away. . It will be superb to see what happens in these trades: 1) large numbers of A level prospects; 2) a few AA and AAA can’t miss prospects with testy ceilings; 3) some twenty-first - twenty-first year major leaguers that seem ready to grow their promise?
